SUNDAY 24th August
We said goodbye to Cervantes and headed north along the beautiful west coast to Dongara, our base for the next two days. We got our first taste of the wildflowers, mostly yellow, some kind of wattle maybe?
Lots and lots of fields of purple, obviously on farms, which we later found out was Patterson's Curse. Oh well, still looks nice even if it is a weed.

The view from our cottage at Dongara. Life's tough on holidays!
We spent the morning exploring Dongara and relaxing at the beach.
Got to see our first WA sunset over the water.
Very nice.
