Off to see the dolphins at Monkey Mia. Unfortunately it was raining and windy and cold, but we still saw the dolphins and the new baby that had been born the day before.
Drove along the peninsula to Shell Beach. There's no sand, just millions of tiny cockle shells, apparently up to 10m deep.
They were quarried to build some of the buildings in Denham as they compact and they can be carved out in blocks.
