We left the coast today an started heading inland. We drove along the Butcher's Track, a 150 km dirt road which was in amazingly good condition to meet the inland highway at Murchison. From there another 120 km south along the highway, also dirt. We passed ONE car the whole way. Like having the whole world to ourselves!

The wildflowers are really getting thick now, lots of everlastings. The rains came at just the right time so the flowers have gone completely beserk!!

We arrived early afternoon at Wandina for our 2 night station-stay.
These are the wildflowers just behind our cottage.
